To place an Order, the Customer must follow the steps described below.

The Customer shall select the desired Product(s) by clicking or tapping on the relevant Product and selecting the required quantity and, where applicable, the desired Product options, including size and colour.
Once selected, the Product is added to the Customer's shopping cart.
The Customer may add as many Products to their shopping cart as they wish.
7.2.2 Placing an Order
Once the selected Product(s) have been added to the shopping cart, the Customer must review the contents of the cart to ensure that the Order is accurate.
To proceed to payment, the Customer may:
-

Before confirming the Order, the Customer is invited to verify all Order details, including the quantity and references of the Products ordered, their sizes and colours, the selected payment method and the applicable prices.
Before finalising the Order, the Customer shall be deemed to have read and accepted these Terms.
Following this verification, the Customer may proceed with secure payment by following the instructions displayed on the Website and, where applicable, providing all information required for invoicing purposes.
Orders must contain all information necessary for their proper processing.
7.2.3 Order Confirmation
Once all of the steps described above have been completed, a confirmation page will appear acknowledging receipt of the Customer's Order.
A copy of the Order confirmation will automatically be sent to the Customer by email within twenty-four (24) business hours, provided that the email address supplied is valid.
7.2.4 Invoicing
During the ordering process, the Customer must provide all information required for invoicing purposes.
Neither the online Order submitted by the Customer nor the Order confirmation sent by email constitutes an invoice.
Regardless of the ordering or payment method used, the Customer will automatically receive an invoice, which will also be available through their Account.
7.3 Prices
The prices displayed on each Product page are expressed in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes (VAT included).
The displayed prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the rate applicable on the date the Order is placed. Any change in the applicable VAT rate may affect the price of the Products from the date on which the new rate comes into effect.
Prices are valid except in the event of an obvious pricing error.
The applicable price is the price displayed at the time the Customer places the Order.
7.4 Product Availability
Products that are out of stock will generally no longer appear on the Website.
Should a Product exceptionally become unavailable after an Order has been placed, BLANCHE EDIT shall inform the Customer without undue delay.
Where a Product is unavailable, BLANCHE EDIT may, subject to the agreement of both Parties, offer the Customer an alternative Product of equivalent quality and value.
If the Customer chooses to cancel the Order for the unavailable Product(s), BLANCHE EDIT shall refund all sums paid in respect of those unavailable Product(s) no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which the contract was terminated.
ARTICLE 8. PAYMENT
8.1 Payment Methods
The Customer may pay for Products online through the Website using the payment methods made available, namely credit or debit card or Klarna.
Once the Customer has selected their preferred payment method, they will be redirected to the corresponding secure payment platform to complete the transaction.
The Customer warrants that they are duly authorised to use the selected payment method.
BLANCHE EDIT shall implement all appropriate measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of data transmitted during online payment transactions made through the Website.
8.2 Payment Refusal
If the Customer's bank declines the payment transaction, the Customer must contact BLANCHE EDIT at hello@blancheedit.com in order to arrange payment by another valid payment method.
Should the transfer of funds due from the Customer prove impossible for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to payment refusal, opposition or any other cause, the Order and the corresponding sale shall be automatically cancelled.
ARTICLE 9. DELIVERY
The terms and conditions governing Delivery are set out in Appendix 1 – Shipping Policy.
ARTICLE 10. RETENTION OF TITLE
Ownership of the Products shall remain vested in BLANCHE EDIT until full payment has been received.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the risk of loss of or damage to the Products shall pass to the Customer, or to any third party designated by the Customer, upon physical possession of the Products, including any risks arising from such Products.
Where the Customer appoints a carrier other than the one proposed by BLANCHE EDIT, the risk of loss of or damage to the Products shall pass to the Customer upon delivery of the Products to that carrier.
ARTICLE 11. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The conditions governing the exercise of the Customer's right of withdrawal are set out in Appendix 2 – Withdrawal Policy.
ARTICLE 12. STATUTORY WARRANTIES
In addition to any commercial warranty that BLANCHE EDIT may offer in respect of certain Products, all Customers benefit from the statutory warranties applicable under French law, as detailed in Appendix 3 – Statutory Warranties.
ARTICLE 13. LIABILITY
BLANCHE EDIT shall not be liable for any failure or improper performance of its contractual obligations where such failure or improper performance is attributable to the Customer, including, without limitation, any error made by the Customer when placing an Order.
BLANCHE EDIT shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure results from a Force Majeure event, as defined by French law and the case law of the French courts.
ARTICLE 14. FORCE MAJEURE
BLANCHE EDIT shall not be liable where the non-performance or delayed performance of any obligation under these Terms results from a Force Majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code and the applicable French case law.
For contractual purposes, a Force Majeure event means any event beyond the reasonable control of the affected Party, which could not reasonably have been foreseen at the time the contract was entered into and whose effects could not be avoided by appropriate measures, thereby preventing that Party from performing its contractual obligations.
Where the impediment is temporary, performance of the affected obligation shall be suspended unless the resulting delay justifies termination of the contract. Where the impediment is permanent, the contract shall automatically terminate, and the Parties shall be released from their respective obligations in accordance with Articles 1351 and 1351-1 of the French Civil Code.
Should any such event occur, BLANCHE EDIT will use reasonable efforts to inform the Customer as soon as practicable.
ARTICLE 15. PERSONAL DATA
BLANCHE EDIT's policy regarding the collection and processing of personal data is set out in the Website's Privacy Policy, available at:
https://blancheedit.com/policies/privacy-policy
ARTICLE 16. EVIDENCE AND RECORD RETENTION
In accordance with Article L.213-1 of the French Consumer Code, any contract relating to an Order with a total value exceeding €120 (VAT included) shall be retained by BLANCHE EDIT for a period of ten (10) years.
BLANCHE EDIT undertakes to retain such records for the purpose of tracking transactions and providing the Customer with a copy of the relevant contract upon request.
ARTICLE 17. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All visual and audio content displayed on the Website, including the underlying technology, is protected by copyright, trademark rights and/or patent rights. Such content is the exclusive property of BLANCHE EDIT.
Any person operating a website who wishes to create a direct hyperlink to the Website must first obtain BLANCHE EDIT's prior written authorisation.
Such authorisation shall never be granted on a permanent basis. BLANCHE EDIT may require the removal of any authorised link at any time.
The use of framing, in-line linking or any similar technique in connection with the Website is strictly prohibited.
Any reproduction, representation or use, whether in whole or in part, of the Website or any of its content by any means whatsoever, without BLANCHE EDIT's prior express written authorisation, is prohibited and shall constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights under the French Intellectual Property Code.
By accepting these Terms, the Customer acknowledges BLANCHE EDIT's intellectual property rights and undertakes to respect them.
ARTICLE 18. CUSTOMER SERVICE – COMPLAINTS
Customers may submit requests for information or complaints relating to an Order at any time.
The Customer may contact BLANCHE EDIT via the contact form available on the Website or by email at hello@blancheedit.com, upon receipt of the Products or in the event that the Products have not been received, including, without limitation, in the following circumstances:
-
the Product has not been delivered;
-
the Product received does not correspond to the Product ordered;
-
the Product received is damaged or incomplete.
The Customer must specify the relevant Order number when submitting any request or complaint.
ARTICLE 19. SEVERABILITY
Should any provision of these Terms be declared invalid or unenforceable pursuant to any applicable law, regulation or final court decision, such provision shall be deemed unwritten without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
The invalidity of any provision shall not entitle the Customer to disregard the remaining provisions of these Terms.
ARTICLE 20. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS
These Terms are dated and may be amended or updated at any time.
However, the version of the Terms applicable to an Order shall be the version in force on the date that the Order is placed.
Accordingly, any amendment to these Terms shall not apply to Orders that have already been placed.
ARTICLE 21. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms, as well as the relationship between the Customer and BLANCHE EDIT, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
Before commencing any legal proceedings, the Customer is invited to contact BLANCHE EDIT by email at hello@blancheedit.com in an attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
If no agreement can be reached, or if the Customer demonstrates that they have previously attempted to resolve the dispute directly with BLANCHE EDIT by submitting a written complaint without receiving a response, the Parties may agree to engage in a voluntary mediation procedure conducted in good faith with a view to reaching an amicable settlement of any dispute relating to these Terms, including their validity.
In accordance with Article L.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may refer the dispute to the consumer mediator appointed by BLANCHE EDIT.
The Party wishing to initiate the mediation process shall first notify the other Party by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, setting out the nature of the dispute.
As mediation is voluntary, either the Customer or BLANCHE EDIT may withdraw from the process at any time.
Should mediation fail or not be pursued, any dispute may be brought before the competent court having jurisdiction.
APPENDIX 1 – SHIPPING POLICY
Delivery Area
The standard delivery area is France.
Orders cannot be placed for delivery addresses located outside this delivery area.
Products will be shipped to the delivery address provided by the Customer during the ordering process.
Shipment
The Customer will automatically receive an email confirming shipment of the Products, provided that the email address supplied is valid.
Delivery Times and Shipping Costs
During the ordering process, BLANCHE EDIT informs the Customer of the available delivery options and the estimated delivery times applicable to the Products ordered.
Shipping costs are calculated according to the selected delivery method and are payable in addition to the purchase price of the Products.
Detailed information regarding delivery times and shipping costs is available on the Website.
Unless otherwise agreed or unless a specific delivery date has been indicated, BLANCHE EDIT shall deliver the Products without undue delay and, in any event, no later than thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the contract, in accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code.
Delivery Methods
Before confirming and paying for an Order, the Customer is informed of the delivery methods available for the selected delivery address.
The Customer shall choose their preferred delivery method from those offered.
Depending on the selected delivery option, the Products will either:
-
be delivered to the address specified by the Customer; or
-
be made available for collection at the designated collection point or parcel pick-up location selected during the ordering process.
Delivery Issues
Should BLANCHE EDIT fail to fulfil its delivery obligations, the Customer may rely on Article L.216-6 of the French Consumer Code, which entitles the Customer to:
-
suspend payment of all or part of the purchase price until BLANCHE EDIT has fulfilled its delivery obligations, in accordance with Articles 1219 and 1220 of the French Civil Code; or
-
terminate the contract if, after formally requesting BLANCHE EDIT to complete delivery within a reasonable additional period, BLANCHE EDIT still fails to do so within that period.
The contract shall be deemed terminated upon receipt by BLANCHE EDIT of the Customer's written notice of termination, unless BLANCHE EDIT has completed delivery before receiving such notice.
The Customer may terminate the contract immediately where:
-
BLANCHE EDIT refuses to deliver the Products or it is evident that delivery will not take place; or
-
BLANCHE EDIT fails to deliver the Products by the agreed delivery date or within the period provided for under Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code, where that date or period constituted an essential condition of the contract. Such essential nature may arise from the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the contract or from an express request made by the Customer before entering into the contract.
Where the contract is terminated under the circumstances described above, BLANCHE EDIT shall reimburse the Customer for all sums paid no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which the contract was terminated.
APPENDIX 2 – WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Right of Withdrawal
As a general rule, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason by returning the Product to BLANCHE EDIT.
To exercise this right, the Product must be returned no later than fourteen (14) days after the Customer has notified BLANCHE EDIT of their decision to withdraw, unless BLANCHE EDIT offers to collect the Product directly.
Withdrawal Period
The withdrawal period shall expire fourteen (14) days after the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the Product.
Where multiple Products are ordered under a single Order but delivered separately (or where a single Product is delivered in several consignments), the withdrawal period shall expire fourteen (14) days after the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the last Product or consignment.
Where a Product is delivered in several parts, the withdrawal period shall expire fourteen (14) days after the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the final part.
Notification of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, and in accordance with Article L.221-21 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer must notify BLANCHE EDIT of their decision to withdraw by means of a clear and unequivocal statement (for example, by post, fax or email).

In other words, the Customer may inspect and test the Product, but may be held liable for any handling that exceeds what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts relating to:
-
services that have been fully performed before the expiry of the withdrawal period where performance began with the Customer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal would be lost once the service had been fully performed;
-
the supply of goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market beyond the trader's control and which may occur during the withdrawal period;
-
goods made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised;
-
goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
sealed goods which have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene;

-
contracts concluded at public auction;
-
accommodation services (other than residential accommodation), transport of goods, vehicle rental, catering services or leisure activities to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period;
-
the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun before the expiry of the withdrawal period and, where the contract requires payment, provided that:
a) the Customer has given prior express consent for performance to begin before the end of the withdrawal period;
b) the Customer has acknowledged that they will lose their right of withdrawal; and
c) the trader has provided confirmation of the Customer's consent in accordance with Article L.221-13 of the French Consumer Code.
APPENDIX 3 – STATUTORY WARRANTIES
The Customer benefits from the statutory warranty of conformity for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery of the Product in the event that a lack of conformity becomes apparent.
During this period, the Customer is only required to prove the existence of the lack of conformity and is not required to establish the date on which it arose.
Where the sales contract provides for the continuous supply of digital content or a digital service for a period exceeding two (2) years, the statutory warranty shall apply throughout the agreed supply period. During that period, the Customer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or digital service and is not required to prove the date on which it arose.
Where applicable, the statutory warranty of conformity requires the seller to provide all updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the Product.
Under the statutory warranty of conformity, the Customer is entitled to have the Product repaired or replaced, free of charge and without significant inconvenience, within thirty (30) days of making the request.
Where the Product is repaired under the statutory warranty of conformity, the original warranty period shall be extended by six (6) months.
Where the Customer requests that the Product be repaired but the seller instead elects to replace it, the statutory warranty of conformity shall be renewed for a further period of two (2) years from the date of replacement.
The Customer may retain the Product and obtain an appropriate reduction in the purchase price, or terminate the contract and receive a full refund upon returning the Product, where:
-
the seller refuses to repair or replace the Product;
-
the repair or replacement is not completed within thirty (30) days;
-
the repair or replacement causes significant inconvenience to the Customer, particularly where the Customer permanently bears the cost of recovering or removing the non-conforming Product, or the installation costs of the repaired or replacement Product; or
-
the Product remains non-conforming despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.
The Customer is also entitled to a reduction in the purchase price or to terminate the contract where the lack of conformity is sufficiently serious to justify an immediate price reduction or termination. In such circumstances, the Customer is not required to request repair or replacement beforehand.
The Customer is not entitled to terminate the sale where the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the Product is unavailable because it is being repaired or replaced shall suspend the remaining warranty period until the repaired or replacement Product has been returned to the Customer.
The rights set out above arise from Articles L.217-1 to L.217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who, in bad faith, obstructs the implementation of the statutory warranty of conformity may incur a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to as much as 10% of the seller's average annual turnover, pursuant to Article L.241-5 of the French Consumer Code.
The Customer also benefits from the statutory warranty against hidden defects (garantie des vices cachés) under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of two (2) years from the discovery of the defect.
Under this warranty, the Customer is entitled either to an appropriate reduction in the purchase price if they retain the Product, or to a full refund upon returning the Product.
